Contract
Frozen in Flight Taxidermy (herein referred to as “we”) has no control over the specimen, nor the many factors which have a very definite effect on the final result of dressing prior to it being received by us. These include but are not limited to: primeness, general condition of the specimen, climatic conditions, bacterial or insect infestation, decomposition, chemical reactions, and most importantly, the lack of knowledge and facilities in the field by the sportsman. We cannot guarantee the results of any mounted specimen. Also, we will not be responsible for loss due to freezer failure, power failure, natural disasters, theft from our premises, or any other loss beyond our control.
A 50% deposit will be placed on all specimens and projects due to handling, storage and skin preparation. This deposit is non-refundable. The customer agrees to pay the balance and remove the mount from our studio within thirty (30) days after notification by us that the work has been completed. If the completed work is not picked up within that time, a storage fee of $3.00 per day, will be added to the total balance. Any and all work due to backlog will not be finished prior to its position that it was received unless otherwise authorized. No mounts will be shipped until 100% Payment for said project and shipping fees have been paid.
We reserve the right to collect the balance of the account by action of law. The customer agrees that if the balance is collected by an attorney, by suit, or otherwise, he will pay all attorney fees and cost of the collection. Failure to pick up the mount after one month of completion / notification may result in destruction of mount in order to recover supplies, or the mount will become property of Frozen in Flight Bird Taxidermy. We are not responsible for the condition of frozen, salted or fresh skins, feathers or other specimen body parts at the time of receipt.

Federal Regulated Migratory Bird Tag (attached to leg of bird if possible).
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requires that an I.D. card be attached (preferably on a leg) to each bird in possession and transport.
The tag must include the following information: Hunter’s name, address, telephone number, hunting license number, species and sex, date collected, county and state of collection and hunter’s signature.
You can include this information on an index card attached to the bird's leg, or cut out this page, and attach it to the bird.
